Nadwa

Terms of Service

Nadwa — mosque community & Quran memorization app · Last updated: 29 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nadwa mobile app (“Nadwa”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), operated by AlphaAlgorithms. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who we are & what Nadwa is

Nadwa is software that lets each mosque run its own community and Quran memorization program — events, announcements, memberships, classes, enrollment, and related tools. AlphaAlgorithms provides this software to mosques and their members. Each mosque manages its own community, members, roles, classes, and prices. AlphaAlgorithms is not the mosque and does not control how a mosque runs its programs.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your country to create an account. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk; you are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Children & student profiles

Nadwa’s memorization program is designed for parents and teachers to manage on behalf of children, who typically do not have their own accounts. A child’s or student’s profile is created and controlled by a parent or by the mosque’s teacher/admin. If you create or manage a student profile, you confirm you are authorized to do so and to provide that information. See the Privacy Policy for how children’s data is handled.

4. Payments go to the mosque — not to Nadwa

When you make a payment through the app — such as class tuition or a donation — that payment is processed directly to the mosque’s own Stripe account. The mosque, not AlphaAlgorithms or Nadwa, is the merchant of record. The mosque is solely responsible for the goods, services, classes, or programs it offers, for setting its own prices, and for its own tax, accounting, and legal obligations. AlphaAlgorithms does not receive, hold, or control these funds, and is not a party to the transaction between you and the mosque.

Card payments are handled by Stripeunder its own terms and security; Nadwa never sees or stores your full card number. Your payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms.

5. Refunds & disputes are handled by the mosque

All questions about a payment — including refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, and disputes — are between you and the mosque you paid, and are handled directly with that mosque under its own policies. Refunds and disputes are not processed, mediated, or arbitrated through the Nadwa app, and AlphaAlgorithms is not responsible for a mosque’s refund decisions or for resolving payment disputes. If you have a concern about a payment, contact your mosque directly.

6. Fees for using Nadwa

Nadwa is currently free to use. AlphaAlgorithms does not charge you a fee for using the app at this time. If this changes, we will update these Terms and let you know before any such fee applies to you.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Nadwa has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any member can flag content or block another user from within the app. Blocking a user immediately hides their content from you and notifies us. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours — removing the content and ejecting the member who posted it. Accounts that violate this policy may be suspended or removed. See our End User License Agreement for the full community-safety terms.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit (for example, events, announcements, comments, and images). By submitting content, you grant AlphaAlgorithms a limited license to host, store, and display it as needed to operate the app for you and your mosque community. You are responsible for the content you post and for having the rights to share it.

9. Availability & changes to the app

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the app, with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AlphaAlgorithms does not warrant that the app will meet your requirements or be error-free, and is not responsible for the conduct of any mosque, member, or third-party service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlphaAlgorithms will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Data Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that could harm other users, a mosque, or AlphaAlgorithms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to AlphaAlgorithms’ place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory local consumer- protection law provides you with additional rights.
